- Panthera Awesome: A warrior whose motif is based on a Cougar. Even his sword, the Cougar Head Blade, has a bronze cougar head on its hilt!
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: At Bloody Wolf for killing his mentor.
- Training Montage: One where he trains at a beach, making explosions and waves by slashing at the water.

- Action Girl: Played by 90s classic Wuxia queen Brigitte Lin.
- Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Doesn't get a single scratch on her during the actions scenes.
- Distaff Counterpart: An expert in close-range weaponry much like Cougar, but is his lover.
- Flynning: Her fight scenes against mooks invokes this.
- Only Sane Man: She doesn't take it kindly to Mang-po and Blackjack goofing around.
- Sword Cane: Unlike Cougar who uses a sword primarily, she prefers using her cane stick which ends in a pointy tip.
An expert gambler whose skills with magic are as lethal as his skill with throwing cards. Named after the casino Card Game blackjack.
Played by: Simon Yam
- Casanova Wannabe: Spends much of the film flirting with Ching-ching and Madam Rose, to no avail, only making a fool out of himself.
- Combat Hand Fan: In the final battle, he uses a set of cards which he unfolds like two sets of combat fans, using them to beat up scores and scores of mooks.
- Cool Shades: Frequently wears sunglasses.
- Death Dealer: Throws playing cards with deadly accuracy, at one point in the final battle even using his cards to decapitate a mook!
- Epic Flail: Besides using his cards as projectiles, Blackjack can also use them as an improvised flail.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: He's the red to Mang-po the blue.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: Dresses in a variety of slick suits throughout the movie.
- Those Two Guys: With Mang-po.
The team's marksman who seemed to have walked out of a war movie set.

- Badasses Wear Bandanas: He only wears them in the climax though.
- Cool Shades: Tends to wear these a lot.
- Gun Nut: The team's gun expert.
- The Gunslinger
- Guns Akimbo: During the final action scene.
- Hold the Line: And he does a pretty good job too, single-handedly mowing down mooks by the dozen while preventing their advance towards the vault's entrance.
- More Dakka: Uses progressively larger weapons in the climax, culminating in him wielding a rocket launcher!
- One-Man Army: Fends off an endless stream of mooks in the climax, taking names with ease. Of the several characters Mang-po easily scores the highest when it comes to onscreen kills.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: He's the red to Mang-po the blue.
- Those Two Guys: With Blackjack.
- Throw Down the Bomblet: Besides shooting, he blows up plenty of mooks using flung grenades during the climax.
What's that? Yuen Wah as a villain? Never heard that one before...

- Four Eyes, Zero Soul: In the flashback scene, he wears glasses. Which somehow makes him even more menacing than he already is.

- Sinister Shades: Being the villain and all...
Wolf's personal aide and leader of his private army.

- The Dragon
- Grenade Hot Potato: He lobs a football loaded with explosives at the main characters, causing Dicky, Mang-po and Blackjack to toss the football all over the place... until Mang-po finally throws it into Chu's face. BOOM.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Gets blown up by his own explosive in the final scene.
- Ludicrous Gibs: His fate.
- Mook Lieutenant: He is seen commanding lesser mooks in the final scene.
