New troper who’s mostly here to add fanfic recs to various pages. Realized that the TV Tropes fanfic rec page is almost always one of my stops when I start looking for things to read in a fandom, and it seemed prudent to give back a little!

Pokemon: Detective Mewtwo by starling12

- Status: Complete
- Summary: Mewtwo is hunting down the last remnants of the R chemical; Tim is settling into his new life with his father and trying to wrap up the Clifford Industries case. When their paths cross, they realize that neither will succeed without the other’s help.
- Comments: A fully developed, well-paced story arc with plenty of character development and a healthy dose of both emotion and humor. Genuinely reads like a plausible sequel to the movie, and takes inspiration from Gen I Mewtwo movies for characterization.
Vaguely Connected Harry Goodman & Mewtwo One-Shots by ckret2

- Status: Each oneshot is complete.
- Summary: The first one-shot is a take on how Harry might have talked Mewtwo into coming to the lab. The second one-shot is set three weeks after the events of the movie; Harry and Pikachu find Mewtwo in their home and “talk about nature and nurture, about murder, about friendship, about guilt, about hugs—and make the first steps toward processing the nightmare they went through.” The third one-shot is a short and silly musing on confetti.
- Comments: Heart-wrenching and humorous in equal measure.
The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship by ivoryandhorn

- Summary: A take on Harry’s first approach to Mewtwo in which both of them think they know what they’re getting into in terms of the Clifford venture’s shady elements.
- Comments: Features an excellent character voice for Harry.
The Vorkosigan Saga

- Synopsis: Ivan stops an unusual attack against Gregor in typical reluctant Ivan fashion. He winds up with anaphylaxis for his troubles, because of course he does.
- Comments: An excellent little story with a self-contained plot and very good character voices. Gives a brief look into Ivan and Gregor’s relationship dynamic, which is always fun.
