Hello there. I am clemont107, an avid horror-film fan, and music and computer obsessed Geek. I also like listening to (and attempt to compose) trailer music, though I usually prefer sound-design thriller tracks as opposed to conventional orchestral "epic music" tracks, mostly because the former sound more intense and gritty to me.Explanation (Asian-themed orchestral music, however, is an exception for me; I think the guzheng, erhu, and other Asian instruments sound very beautiful, hence my love for orchestral soundtracks with those instruments.)

Favorite tropes
- Action Horror: I really love works of this genre as they can be quite terrifying but at the same time, the protagonists are capable of fighting back and are not helpless at all.
- Adrenaline Time: This trope is awesome when used in movies or video games, as it can massively spice up action scenes a lot.
- And I Must Scream: This can be a horrifying fate for anyone who suffers this.
- Anti-Hero: A hero in the morally-gray area can often be more appealing to me than an Ideal Hero, due to being more willing to Shoot the Dog and not having a Thou Shalt Not Kill rule.
- Anti-Villain: A villain with both a sympathetic backstory and Well-Intentioned Extremist traits can make for a compelling character. Bonus points if they are a protagonist and/or fighting against a much worse character.
- Anyone Can Die: Not even the main cast is safe! A great way to avert Plot Armor!
- Black-and-Gray Morality: Having anti-heroes fighting and defeating despicable villains with no redeeming qualities whatsoever is quite satisfying to watch.
- Black Comedy: I like this kind of humor occasionally, like in Family Guy.
- Card-Carrying Villain: I like serious examples of villains who fit this trope, as they are often Played for Drama or Played for Horror as Knight of Cerebus villains. Bonus points if they are especially vile, and eclipse Well-Intentioned Extremist villains in terms of their heinous actions so much that the latter villains team up with the heroes to stop them.
- Casting a Shadow: I like shadow or darkness-based powers a lot because they look cool.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: A gruesome death scene can make for a great source of Nightmare Fuel.
- Cutaway Gag: It's a pretty funny comedy-oriented trope, and it's a large reason why I like Family Guy a lot.
- Cyberpunk Is Techno: I do like futuristic settings using primarily electronic soundtracks.
- Darker and Edgier: I do enjoy series going into a darker and more serious direction.
- Death Metal: I love music of this genre due to its guttural vocals and downtuned guitars. I also love it when it's mixed in with Industrial Metal.
- Digital Abomination: These types of digital monstrosities are horrifying and freakishly cool at the same time.
- Drone of Dread: Distorted electronic drones are very appealing to me because they increase the tension of a music track or film score.
- Drum and Bass: I do enjoy the fast tempos, percussion and synth bass sounds found in this genre.
- Drums of War: Usage of drums in a soundtrack during a battle scene can be very effective.
- Dubstep: I do enjoy this genre and its sounds sometimes, especially Industrial Metalstep.
- Eldritch Ocean Abyss: The ocean in science fiction can be quite scary, even moreso than in Real Life.
- Eldritch Starship: These types of spaceships are pretty cool-looking, far more than standard ones.
- Electronicore: I love this fusion of metal, punk and electronic music.
- Fake Loud: I do love extra distortion in vocals, synths and sound elements in music. Bonus points if they're bit-crushed as well.
- Freaky Electronic Music: A villain's leitmotif of this trope can be quite dark and edgy, which I like.
- Genius Bruiser: These types of characters appeal to me because they're able to solve difficult problems or situations while proving themselves capable in deadly battles.
- Glitch: Some of the sounds from this genre sound really cool.
- God Is Evil: A Top God allowing for bad things to happen can be a good reason for why the world is a Crapsack World.
- Good is Not Nice: A genuinely good character doesn't need to be nice all the time, in my opinion, especially when dealing with vile villains.
- Granola Girl: I find characters who fit this archetype to be quite cute.
- Green Means Natural: I love the color green and its association with the numerous plants that give rainforests and other biomes their color.
- Harsh Noise: I do enjoy some sounds from this genre due to their harshness, distortedness and grit.
- Hate Sink: Villains of these types appeal to me because they often fit the Knight of Cerebus archetype, and are so detestable that they often bring a Darker and Edgier turn to an otherwise lighthearted work.
- Hell Is That Noise: A distorted electronic sound can help make a soundtrack more scary with the introduction of something very dangerous.
- Hyperspace Is a Scary Place: I find it quite awesome when hyperspace is depicted as a plane of pure Nightmare Fuel.
- Industrial Metal: I love music of this genre due to its employment of guitars, distorted synths and other awesome instruments.
- Infinity +1 Sword: This is the prized item that allows the player to be at their most powerful. Just as long as it doesn't make the game too easy, okay?
- Killer Robot: I find these type of robots quite cool and scary-looking.
- Knight of Cerebus: A villain that brings a more serious tone to the work they are in often helps the tension factor, as their actions are often Played for Horror.
- Lens Flare: Anamorphic lens flares are especially cool.
- A Lighter Shade of Black: An Anti-Villain fighting against a Hate Sink can make for a great case of Evil Versus Evil where you actually want one side to win.
- Made of Explodium: Lots of explosions in movies and video games are pretty cool.
- Mechanical Abomination: These types of colossal machines are pretty awesome in design and in battle.
- Metalcore: It's yet another one of my favorite metal genres.
- Mohs Scale of Rock and Metal Hardness: I especially love music that ranks high on this scale, between 8-11.
- Nature Hero: I love characters who protect biomes and the wildlife that live there.
- New Sound Album: I do love musical artists going into new territory with new and unique sounds for their newer albums.
- Noisy Robots: Harsh, loud mechanical sounds can help intensify a scene or music track.
- The Power of Rock: Hell yeah!
- Power of the Void: Similar to Casting a Shadow, I find void-based powers mysterious, intriguing and awesome at the same time.
- Previews Pulse: Sound-design trailer pulses often help to make tracks darker and more intense when they are used in trailers and commercials. I also like these pulses within the soundtracks of movies, television series and video games themselves.
- Prolonged Video Game Sequel: This is a great way for video games to avert It's Short, So It Sucks!.
- Psychological Horror: Due to putting the protagonists under conditions designed to break their minds, this subgenre of horror is one of the scariest for me, which I like.
- Science Is Good: Precisely it is.
- Sci-Fi Horror: I love works of this genre as they often show the scary side of science fiction such as artificial intelligence, aliens and outer space.
- Sequel Difficulty Spike: Yes! Having a video game sequel becoming more difficult than its predecessor offers more of an exciting challenge!
- Sequel Escalation: A larger-scale sequel is a great way to expand on the previous installment.
- Slasher Movie: Having a killer hunting down the cast can be horrifically intense.
- Smiting Evil Feels Good: Antiheroes that love inflicting pain on vile villains who deserve it appeal to me a lot.
- So Bad, It's Good: Works that are unintentionally funny can be quite hilarious with Narm.
- The Sociopath: A villain with a complete lack of empathy and no remorse can stand out from the rest of villains who have standards or loved ones.
- Soundtrack Dissonance: Deliberate examples of this can be unsettling, especially in thriller and horror works.
- Splatter Horror: I love horror movies with lots of blood and gore, to be honest.
- Superboss: I like it when video games have multiple bosses that fit this trope, as they provide even more difficult challenges for players to seek when fighting them.
- Tick Tock Terror: Ticks and other clock sounds can help increase the tension of a scene or a music track, often highlighting rising danger.
- Then Let Me Be Evil: It's a great backstory for a Tragic Villain.
- Viler New Villain: A detestable villain eclipsing previous ones in not only effectiveness but also heinousness can make for a great source of both Nightmare Fuel and Cerebus Syndrome.
- The Walls Are Closing In: Having a character being threatened by walls moving inward toward them can be a great way to increase tension.
Least favorite tropes
- Aesop Amnesia: Unless this is Played for Laughs, it can be irritating to see the character in question have to learn the same thing over and over again.
- And Your Reward Is Clothes: Please don't reward me with clothes unless they actually do something that affects my gameplay positively.
- Bedsheet Ghost: I honestly don't find these types of ghosts scary. There are a lot of ghosts in horror movies that I find more scary because they don't use this trope.
- Cosmetic Award: I really don't like these kinds of rewards in video games, I prefer rewards that actually contribute towards gameplay in a positive way.
- Easily Forgiven: I don't think former villains that committed incredibly heinous crimes should be forgiven instantly just after redemption. They should make more efforts to atone going forward if they want forgiveness.
- Girls Are Really Scared of Horror Movies: Girls easily love horror movies just as much as guys do.
- Idiot Hero: Honestly, I prefer heroes who are intelligent as heck.
- I Work Alone: I don't like it when characters want to work on something by themselves, because it's often more efficient to get things done in a group.
- Jump Scare: Honestly once you expect it, it kind of gets too predictable and overused to be scary at all.
- Kids Shouldn't Watch Horror Films: I disagree.
- Lighter and Softer: I don't really like subsequent works becoming less dark or serious, unless the previous installments were so dark they bordered on Too Bleak, Stopped Caring.
- Moody Trailer Cover Song: I don't really like it when movie or video game trailers use this, as it's just a cover of an already existing popular song. I think it's better for trailers in general to use trailer music tracks that are original and not based on any preexisting songs.
- Recycled Trailer Music: Using music from a film soundtrack in a trailer doesn't really appeal to me because it doesn't capture the audience's attention as well as music composed specifically for use in movie trailers and advertisements, especially sound-design thriller music.
- Repurposed Pop Song: This is even worse than a Moody Trailer Cover Song, as the trailers using this don't even try to hide the fact that they aren't trying to make their trailer sound original with a unique and original track. If anything, I find trailers with preexisting songs in them very boring.
- Rockers Smash Guitars: Yeah, I don't like occurrences of this trope in media because I think guitars are priceless and doing this is extremely disrepectful to not only the guitar manufacturers but also rock music in general.
- Romantic Comedy: I'm not really a fan of this genre, because works that fit it can be too lighthearted for me to actually enjoy.
- Scary Musician, Harmless Music: What's wrong with scary music?
- Science Is Bad: Science is not bad, okay?
- Sequel Difficulty Drop: I just like video game sequels to be more reasonably difficult, thank you.
- Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll: This is just a terrible stereotype. That's all I'm saying here.
- Stock Trailer Music: I'm not a fan of movie trailers using these type of tracks because chances are audiences have already heard the song elsewhere. Always best to use production library trailer music for originality.
- Stupid Good: Protagonists that fit this trope can be very annoying because they choose to take actions that that seem the most heroic but end up causing more harm that could have been avoided with more pragmatism.
Tropes I have mixed feelings on
- Ghost Fiction: Honestly, I don't really like supernatural horror as much as slasher horror because slasher movies are often more grounded in reality, while supernatural stories often focus on more fantastical elements. However, there are some supernatural horror movies that I do like a lot (e.g. Insidious, The Conjuring).
- Hip-Hop: There are some songs of this genre that I do enjoy listening to a lot, but overall I feel that the genre mostly lacks the intensity of modern Rock genres that I enjoy.
- Orchestral Bombing: While I am fine with the use of this trope in the actual soundtrack for a movie or video game, I'm not really a fan of its use in movie trailers or commercials. For that area, I think sound-design suspense thriller trailer music is better because it's more effective at gaining and retaining the audience's attention and is more likely to stay in their memory long after the advertisement ends.
- Pop: There are some pop songs I do enjoy a lot, but for the most part I don't find pop to be as enjoyable as Rock genres due to its overall lower intensity than the latter.
- "Psycho" Strings: There are some examples of horror film scores and trailer music tracks that utilize this very well, but I generally prefer distorted industrial synths for horror music because they sound more scary, unnatural and unfamiliar, while string instruments are more familiar to the human ear and thus usually are not as scary or disturbing for me. A recent trend in horror trailer music has been using less distorted industrial synths and more string sounds, which has been quite disappointing for me to witness.
Tropes that describe me
- Animesque: Some of my art fits this, but it's also inverted in that I often draw anime characters in a Western Animation artstyle, especially that of Family Guy.
- Author Avatar: Some of my fanon versions of characters fit this to an extent. For example, my versions of Mina Ashido and Marnie both love horror films, So Bad, It's Good movies, and Industrial Metal music, which I enjoy. In addition, my fanon versions of Penny and Pacifica Northwest love animals and nature, and overall fit the Nature Lover archetype. However, it's somewhat zig-zagged in that they also have differing opinions from me when it comes to certain things. For example, Mina likes nudibranch sea slugs, especially aeolid nudibranch sea slugs, while I'm scared of aeolid nudibranch sea slugs due to their stinging, tentacle-like cerata on their backs. (*Shudders*) In addition, Pacifica is a huge Fangirl for Julia Roberts and Romantic Comedy movies in general, while I despise them.
- Berserk Button: Several:
- Name-calling. I don't like it when people call me names, and I don't like it when people call other people names.
- Having one person do all the work by themselves. It's stressful for them, and I would rather have people divide the work together.
- Wasting time. Time is something one can never get back, so I prefer to be most efficient with things.
- Politics. I just try to avoid discussions about it, for my sanity's wellbeing.
- A Downplayed example with orchestral music; I do like orchestral soundtracks being featured in the film, video game or television series themselves, but I don't usually like the presence of orchestral trailer music in trailers or commercials, due to lacking the intensity of sound-design trailer music that I really like. An exception to this is if the orchestral trailer music in question happens to contain Asian instruments such as the guzheng and erhu, as I find these instruments very beautiful and pleasant to listen to. I do wish there was more orchestral trailer music using Asian instruments.
- Video games that can be completed within a short period of time can be a bit annoying, because I prefer my video games to have much more content and long storylines that can take up to months to complete.
- Similarly, games that are easy can be frustrating because they don't provide as much of a challenge as I would have liked.
- The B Grade: I try to avoid B-grades or lower, but sometimes I cannot help it.
- The Bore: Sometimes I'm afraid of being this, given my tendencies to talk about my interests too much.
- Break the Cutie: Essentially happens to me when I least expect it.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Sometimes I get so obsessed with some thoughts in my head that I forget other things, to my detriment.
- Commander Contrarian: Somewhat, as sometimes I have opinions about works, music or other things that run contrary to the majority of others'. My love for some movies with negative critical reception can be partially attributed to this.
- Cosmic Plaything: Somehow a lot of bad things happen to me. I'm really unlucky to the point I believe the universe has it out for me.
- Curious as a Monkey: I tend to be interested in a lot of new things I end up learning about. Sometimes this backfires.
- The Cynic: Very much so, due to my personal bad luck in addition to observing that good things happen to bad people and vice-versa. I always hope for the best but also prepare for the worst outcome, and I always expect the worst outcome to be more than likely.
- Dark Is Not Evil: I like dark colors and horror movies but I'm usually a pleasant person.
- The Eeyore: More-so than in the past. I feel that bad things keep happening to me for some reason and this causes my outlook on life to be worse off.
- The Fatalist: I do believe that fate is fixed and cannot be changed.
- Fat Idiot: Inverted. I'm slightly overweight but I'm actually quite smart when it comes to computers, mathematics and other fields. But I do make a lot of mistakes.
- Geek: I like video games, movies and television shows, and computers.
- Gentleman and a Scholar: While I'm jerkish sometimes, it's never about bragging about my knowledge of things. I try use my knowledge to help others succeed.
- Goth: Downplayed, but I do like wearing dark clothes and listening to rock/metal music.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Sometimes if I get insulted or something bad happens to me, I get upset easily. I try to control this though.
- Hell Is That Noise: I'm a fan of these kinds of sounds.
- Heroic Self-Deprecation: Downplayed. I know that I'm pretty smart but sometimes I doubt myself when I have to complete an assignment, because I don't know if I can do well.
- The Insomniac: Most nights I have trouble sleeping, for some reason.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: I'm generally a nice person, but sometimes I freak out quite easily if something unexpected happens or if I can't get any sleep.
- Mood-Swinger: Sometimes I get really happy for a bit, thinking about something, and then I get back to reality and then enter my "sad phase".
- Nervous Wreck: Sometimes if something unexpected happens to me, I am reduced to this.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: I have a fear of accidentally causing this.
- Nightmare Fetishist: I do like a lot of horror movies and horror-related tropes.
- The Omniscient: What I aspire to be.
- Previews Pulse: I like these sounds in trailer music, particularly sound-design suspense tracks.
- Sleep Deprivation: This happens a lot to me because of stress, work, and a lot of other things I didn't plan for.
- The Smart Guy: I know a lot of stuff about computers, mathematics, and sciences, though there are a lot of things I still don't know about.
- Stepford Smiler: Sometimes I try to keep a happy smile, but I'm not truly happy most of the time.
- Took a Level in Cynic: I used to be more idealistic when I was younger. Let's just say I was very naive back then, okay?
- Unabashed B-Movie Fan: I enjoy low-budget horror movies that fit the B-movie aesthetic.
Headcanons
- Marnie
- I think Marnie would take part in environmental activism in her free time, because it would allow her to interact more with Pokémon and help protect them. I could see her adopting a Granola Girl aesthetic on occasion while doing so.
- I also think Marnie would try to compose electronic music in her spare time, including trailer music. She would specialize in sound-design trailer music, getting into this hobby because she was a bit disappointed that there was a shift in focus away from sound-design towards orchestral content in recent years.
- Mina Ashido
- I think that Mina would do cosplays as a hobby, dressing up as other, different characters, sometimes from other franchises. To complete the cosplay, she would even get in-character and act as if she were actually the character she was cosplaying as, in a form of Method Acting.
- Penny
- I think Penny would be interested in the rainforest and would love to travel there to explore and find new species of creatures as well as archaeological artifacts from ancient civilizations. She would also use technology to identify and help Pokemon there in a form of environmental conservation, similar to how contemporary environmentalists do in Real Life.
Tropes that describe my Fanon versions of characters
Mina Ashido
Mina Ashido
Voiced by: Rachael MacFarlane
A Japanese student with an "Acid" Quirk, that gives her a unique pink appearance and the ability to produce acid through her skin. Although she appears plucky and cheerful like her canon counterpart, she hides a darker, more feisty and jerkish side underneath the happy exterior. However, she's by no means a bad person.
- Acid Attack: She has this as her Quirk, and can use it like her canon counterpart for both shielding ranged and melee attacks. However, she acknowledges that it, like all other Quirks, has its own limits, and thus she often resorts to other techniques to help win battles.
- Adaptational Jerkass: Unlike her canon counterpart who is a straight-up Nice Girl, Mina here is somewhat more of a jerk, as she often is arrogant, bitter, harsh and blunt, and doesn't mince words when dishing out criticisms to friend or foe alike. However, she means well and is otherwise generally affable.
- Anti-Hero: Although she's a jerk and isn't afraid to fight dirty, she retains the strong moral compass of her canon counterpart.
- Arrogant Kung-Fu Girl: She's the most knowledgeable and skilled in her class about battle techniques, and isn't afraid to boast about these skills.
- Book Dumb: Like her canon counterpart, she is lacking in comparison to her friends when it comes to overall intelligence. Unlike her canon counterpart, however, she deeply resents this fact and does everything she can to defy it, including studying overtime and taking classwork seriously, to the point that she often only lags behind in math and physics. This trope is also inverted with regards to her knowledge in battle tactics and strategy, history, and biology, where she even exceeds Momo Yaoyorozu in that regard.
- Break the Haughty: Occasionally her jerkish attitude breaks down when she's outsmarted or her plans for success fall apart.
- Brutal Honesty: She believes that true friends must tell the truth, even if it hurts.
- Card-Carrying Jerkass: "I admit it, I can be a jerk sometimes. Nothing wrong with that."
- Combat Pragmatist: Mina prefers to take the most efficient option to success, and that includes fighting dirty in combat against opponents.
- Contralto Of Danger: Courtesy of Rachael MacFarlane.
- The Cynic: Not apparent at first glance, but it soon becomes apparent that her cheerful exterior reveals a more, comically pessimistic personality. She claims to be a "realist" but it's obvious she's just using a different word to describe her negative outlook on the world around her.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Like her canon counterpart, she encountered the infamous villain Gigantomachia at her school, protecting her friends by diverting him away from them. Due to this traumatic experience, she's become more of a cynical jerk over the years.
- Deadpan Snarker: Due to her jaded outlook on the world as a whole, she often makes sarcastic quips and comments about everything around her.
- Genius Bruiser: While Book Dumb in overly-technical areas such as math and physics, she excels in tactical strategies, history, and biology, and even won first prize for an annual chess competition.
- Good Feels Good: Her motivation for helping others.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Sometimes she gets easily annoyed if people fail to understand or listen to her.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Even though she can be harsh and blunt with her criticisms, she's usually correct about them and she means well.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Harsh criticisms and sarcastic comments aside, she's genuinely affable to people, especially her friends, and always tries to help out.
- Knight in Sour Armor: Despite her pessimism regarding the world around her, she always lends out a helping hand to those in need.
- The Lad-ette: Somewhat, though it's more downplayed.
- Master Actress: A heroic example, as she can become perfectly in-character as someone else. It's especially noticeable when she cosplays as someone else, as she basically becomes them in terms of personality and mannerisms.
- Metalhead: She loves Heavy Metal music, and loves to listen to it both online and at concerts. Heavy Metal and other forms of rock music bring a genuine smile to her face.
- Method Acting: Does this a lot, both for her cosplays and for her roles in theater and movie acting.
- Nightmare Fetishist: She loves horror movies and watches them every day. She even has several posters of them in her room.
- Only Sane Woman: She tends to be this in comparison to her friends.
- Smug Super: "I'm probably better than you in that skill, no offense."
- Stepford Smiler: Her cheery exterior is more often than not a facade that reveals a more grumpy, disappointed personality.
- Stepford Snarker: She often uses sarcasm as a way to deal with her negative emotions.
- Used to Be a Sweet Kid: She started out like her canon counterpart in terms of personality until she encountered the villain Gigantomachia during her middle school years. This traumatizing event has caused her to become more jaded and cynical towards the world in general.
Marnie (Pokémon)
Marnie
Voiced by: Colleen Clinkenbeard
A Pokémon trainer and Dark-type specialist from the Galar region. She often performs music with her older brother Piers in concerts. Lately, she has been trying to get into composing digital music (especially sound-design trailer music), with varying success.- All-Loving Hero: She tends to be kind to everyone she meets, and always makes an effort to help others in need.
- Berserk Button: She doesn't really like the prevalence of orchestral trailer music exceeding that of sound-design suspense trailer music in recent years, and she's often upset about how record labels and studios are producing less and less sound-design content than in the past.
Marnie: [annoyed] What's really annoying about the current trends in composing trailer music is that orchestral albums seem to be overtaking their sound-design thriller counterparts in both popularity and size. Nowadays I'm seeing numerous orchestral albums being released with around 30 tracks or more, while the exceedingly rare sound-design albums I find only have 20 tracks or less! A few years ago, most sound-design albums had 30 or more tracks, with some having around 40 or even 50! It's like a 180-degree turn!
- Beware the Nice Ones: If she gets angry, she definitely isn't above using her Pokémon's moves on those who have wronged her.
- Born Unlucky: She certainly thinks that this is the case for her, based on her numerous experiences with failure in her projects and endeavors.
- Break the Cutie: A lot of her goals and wishes end up backfiring on her in the worst way possible, and she can never seem to catch a break. This has taken a toll on her emotional state at times.
- Butt-Monkey: She often suffers the worst in her group of friends, and has experienced failure so many times in her projects and hobbies that she's lost count.
- The Conscience: She always makes her best effort to be the moral compass of her friends.
- The Chew Toy: Sometimes her unlucky predicaments are Played for Laughs.
- Dark Is Not Evil: She specializes in Dark-type Pokemon and wears dark-colored clothes, but is the most friendly of her group of friends.
- Ditzy Genius: She has an IQ of 150, and she is knowledgeable in math, physics, and other fields of science, but her social skills are a bit... unrefined.
- Heroic Self-Deprecation: She tends to be unable to think highly of herself, believing that she often causes too much trouble for her friends.
- Ideal Hero: She certainly fits the bill as someone who always tries to help others and serve as a role model for others to follow.
- It's All My Fault: When something goes wrong, she often panics and apologizes for the situation, even though she never causes it.
- Jerkass Ball: Tends to grab it when talking about sound-design music versus orchestral music, as she gets very passionate when proclaiming why she believes that sound-design music sounds better than orchestral music.
- Metalhead: Like Mina Ashido, she enjoys Heavy Metal music. Some of her inspirations for composing sound-design trailer music come from Heavy Metal.
- Nice Girl: She's generally friendly and kind to everyone she meets, and always tries to engage in interesting conversations with others.
- Only Sane Woman: Fills this role alongside her friend Mina Ashido, though Marnie herself seems to be the more sane one.
- Previews Pulse: She's been trying to get into composing these type of sounds for sound-design suspense trailer music tracks, but she doesn't think that she's been that successful in that regard.
- Prone to Tears: She often cries a lot when she experiences failure or some other mishap, which unfortunately is quite often for her.
- The Smart Girl: She's easily one of the smartest members in her group of friends, with her knowledge of music, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
- So Bad, It's Good: She really loves these kinds of movies. In particular, she's a huge fan of Tommy Wiseau's The Room (2003) and even dresses up as Johnny once in a while.

A girl from the Alola region who recently started her journey as a Pokemon Trainer. She also likes to study a lot and can get quite annoyed if her study is interrupted.- Academic Alpha Bitch: Somewhat, as she takes her studying and work very seriously, and gets annoyed easily if other people don't.
- Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed, but she's somewhat more arrogant and smug than her canon counterpart, though not to the extent of Mina Ashido. She's still an All-Loving Hero though.
- Berserk Button: Anyone interrupting her study will face her furious wrath.
- Break the Haughty: If she acts too insufferable or smug in comparison to her usual self, chances are she will get some comedic Laser-Guided Karma.
- Insufferable Genius: She's quite proud of her scientific prowess and can sometimes be harsh with others if they get on her nerves.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She can be a bit of a jerk but she always cares for other people and tries to help them whenever she can.
- The Smart Girl: She's very smart when it comes to biology, physics, mathematics and other fields.
Pacifica Northwest
Pacifica Northwest
Voiced by: Stephanie Sheh
A girl from a family of Upper-Class Twits, who now is very much the outlier among them: an honest, gentle and kind person who advocates for a better future.- Became Their Own Antithesis: Inverted, as while she used to be a Spoiled Brat Alpha Bitch, she's now a gentle person who puts other people's needs first.
- Fangirl: She really loves Julia Roberts and her movies, for some reason. She also loves Romantic Comedies in general, along with the actors that star in them.
- Granola Girl: Since her turn to social activism, she definitely fits the bill, doing things such as advocating for animals' rights and saving the environment.
- Heroic Self-Deprecation: She often doesn't think highly of herself considering she used to be a jerk in the past; this has taken a massive toll on her self-esteem.
- I Hate Past Me: She really hates the fact that she used to be as spoiled and stuck-up as her family, and feels guilty when reflecting on her jerkish behavior in the past.
- Nice Girl: She's always trying to help out others whenever she can.
- Rich Kid Turned Social Activist: Pacifica now has found a hobby in progressive activism, helping the poor and helpless and advocating for socioeconomic reforms.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Continuing her Character Development from her show, she eventually lost every single one of her jerkish attributes.

A girl from the Paldea region who's very tech oriented. Recently she has been visiting tropical biomes such as rainforests in order to study the wildlife there as a Pokémon researcher.- Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: One of her jungle outfits fits this trope.
- Berserk Button: She really despises Evil Poachers and Egomaniac Hunters, in addition to anti-environmental corporations.
- Deadpan Snarker: Still a bit snarky, but more of a playful kind of snark now.
- Fangirl: She really loves the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, so much so that she wants Black Panther 3 to be announced soon. She also likes Kimba the White Lion.
- Jungle Princess: She deliberately invokes this with one of her jungle outfits.
- Nature Lover: She admits to loving nature and wild creatures a lot, being able to socialize with them more easily than other people.
- Nice Girl: Since visiting the rainforest, she has become far more gentle and amiable and lost most of her jerkish traits from the past.
- No Social Skills: Downplayed now compared to the past, but Penny is still a bit lacking in social skills compared to friends, but she has been getting better.
- Playful Hacker: She's very good with computers, and does a lot of contributions for open-source software and web security systems.
- The Smart Girl: She's very smart when it comes to technology and biology, and she's also very keen on paleontology and archeology.
- Took a Level in Cheerfulness: Her visits to the rainforest have seemed to ignited an outgoing and free-spirited energy in her, as she's become significantly more adventurous and keen to exploring new areas.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Her exploration adventures have softened her formerly-blunt attitude considerably and she's become very open to make new friends.

Einram
Einram
Voiced by: Colleen Clinkenbeard
An evil clone of Marnie.- Ax-Crazy: Big time. Her violent rampages are not pretty, to say the least.
- Berserk Button: Being compared with Marnie in any way is a really good way to get her angry.
- Card-Carrying Villain: Lives to cause violence, chaos, and despair.
- Chaotic Evil: With her Ax-Crazy nature, goals of causing chaos, violence and destruction out of pure sadism, she definitely qualifies.
- Dark Action Girl: She's an evil clone who's capable of dishing out deadly violence.
- Dark Is Evil: In contrast to her original, good counterpart, she is very much this.
- Evil Doppelgänger: She was originally cloned from a strand of Marnie's hair that somehow ended up in Stewie Griffin's cloning machine.
- Evil Genius: She inherited Marnie's high intelligence and affinity for science, but uses them for nefarious goals.
- Faux Affably Evil: Is capable of acting like the original Marnie's Nice Girl personality, but has no conscience or empathy even while doing so and will kill anyone standing in her way even while maintaining this act.
- For the Evulz: Pretty much her entire modus operandi.
- Kick the Dog: Every act of violence she commits, purely out of sheer sadism.
- Knight of Cerebus: Aside from moments of Black Comedy, Einram is taken completely seriously as a monstrous psychopath, and darkens the tone of the story when she shows up.
- Lack of Empathy: Cares for no one but herself.
- Lightning Bruiser: She's very swift and agile, capable of tanking damage without much effort, and is very deadly to her opponents.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: She basically delivers deadly versions of these on an hourly basis to unsuspecting victims.
- One-Woman Army: Let's just say that she can take on (and completely destroy) an entire police squadron by herself.
- Palette Swap: Her clothes, necklace, earrings and hair pins have had their colors switched as a result of the cloning process.
- Sadist: She takes great joy in causing suffering to innocents, just because she can.
- Slasher Smile: Her perpetual expression.
- The Sociopath: Very much so, as she doesn't care about causing chaos, violence and destruction, all of which she does out of pure wanton cruelty, and she absolutely shows no remorse for her actions.
- Teens Are Monsters: As an evil clone of the good-hearted Marnie, she lives up to the "monster" part.
