Lives in Sydney, Australia. Is aged 40-45. I don't know when I'm going to edit this again. Also, I don't know how far in the future you are from me now, dear reader.
Has bipolar disorder and not ashamed to say it. Some of the things they've done in the past because of this, well... definitely ashamed to say.
Lead singer of Skarekrow for 3 years in the '90's - Art punk? Grunge rock? Something in between. Member of 3 other bands that never quite got to the stage.
Performance poet in early 2000's, before everyone in Poetry Slams had to sound like a beatnik or like a hip-hop rapper.
Likes blood, death, war and horror... but actually only if it is a real war, in a real historical period.
Also politics, but not just for the hell of it. Also anything to do with actual history.
Comedy, as long as it is smart, surreal and satirical. US, British or Australian. Also in Canada.
Has enjoyed quite a lot of French comedies, although had to enjoy them through subtitles. Has a favourite Spanish-language comedy - Almodavar's ''Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios'' or Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
Could be described as Eurocentric in taste, but only speaks English, and realises how limiting this is. Has been to Paris, and wished she could stay there. Wished she could speak better French. Could get by in German, but hasn't been to Germany, sadly.
Also Speculative Fiction, including Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Alternate History.
Died and went to heaven when The Lord Of The Rings came out, having waited since 1979 to see it.
Wishes Australia wasn't so far away from the rest of the world.
