Please, do not click that DarthWiki link above, I regret it a lot.
Hello there! I am BlakeIsHere (real name: Lucas Blake Ashton). I am British and sometimes anti-social.
Tropes that describe me and my characters:
- Aerith and Bob: There are people with normal names like Lily and Ian, but then are some quirkier names like Jinutiay and Nertokia.
- Americans Hate Tingle:
- Blake is not well-liked in Japan, with the main reason being because of the existence of two characters: Hannah D. Smith, Ian Smith's cousin and the Japanization girl, due to both of them existing as an Author Tract towards Japanese culture (Anime and Pokémon, mainly).
- Angelic Beauty: Amy the Angel is pretty beautiful (and cute) for an angel. Lampshaded in the Breaking Bad Parody Episode "Blake's Goddamn Right".
Blake: Why the hell are the angels or angel-like characters always more pretty than the normal characters here?
Maddie: Because the producers wanted it to be that way. - Approval of God: Blake has approved some fan art of him.
- Bestiality Is Depraved: Jokingly, Blake said he wanted to have sex with Helen Henny from Chuck E. Cheese (the cheerleader version, specifically), who, might we add, is a chicken.
- Berserk Button:
- Zero Context Examples. I hate these, most of the time I just comment them out, but sometimes I do make a fixed version to fit in with the Wiki's Repair, Don't Respond rule.
- My least favourite genre is arguably Soap Operas, they're just so boring, and not to mention a large amount of them are just badly written in general.
- Communism.
- Catchphrase:
- Blake has so many we can't list them all here.
- Jason & Ossie: "BIG BOY SWING!" or sometimes, "BIG BOY TALL SWING!".
- Ian Smith parodies this catchphrase at one point with "SMALL GIRL SWING!".
- Since September 2022, it has now evolved into a Mad Libs Catchphrase which is usually "BIG BOY [adjective] SWING!". The "BIG BOY TALL SWING!" variant has been retired too.
- Another one of Ossie's catchphrases is "Yes Chromebook!", usually said in response when someone says he is not getting his Chromebook, and commonly followed up by or used during his No Chromebook dance.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: A fair few characters & locations have disappeared with no In-Universe explanation. Justified, since Blake simply forgot about them, and in some cases, replaced them.
- Creator Backlash: Anything from between Blake forcing someone to cancel one of their shows in May 2018, not long after Blake's 13th birthday, to Blake's Heartfelt Apology on September 14th, 2021, mainly due to this era being when Blake was Overshadowed by Controversy.
- Development Hell: Blake, in some cases, has left some of his projects in development for a long time. One request, specifically, is infamous for this while Blake just said that "its future is uncertain", meaning it could be either cancelled or it will be in development hell for even longer.
- Discredited Trope: Blake considers a popular National Stereotype depicting Greece as having heavy money issues and debt. He also states how despite it being overused, it is still played straight, meaning it qualifies as an Undead Horse Trope.
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Little Timmy, who was introduced originally as a Joke Character meant to imitate the behaviour of a typical child on the internet quickly became popular with fans and also became a Fountain of Memes due to how weird his lines can be sometimes.
- Domer Dompson, Filler-Man, & the Burger Shot worker (later revealed to be called Malcolm), all became so popular they all got their spin-offs.
- He's Back!: Duncan Brannan returns as the voice of Chuck E. Cheese. However, it is later revealed through Word of God that it is an impersonation done by Blake.
- Irony: This screenshot◊ doesn't need explanation.
- It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: In-universe example, Blake always hates it when someone reuses the same idea again.
- Memetic Mutation:
- “Why don’t you go chase a truck heading to Arizona, Jasper?!”Explanation
- "You are now the Pacifist Chocoholic Businessman. Have fun."Explanation
- "Ahh me gahd, I'ave an Iresh accent!"Explanation
- "chuck e cheese 2.0 can suck my d"Explanation
- "fuck off clippy"Explanation
- "We return to the action, again."Explanation
- "DA SKETCH BOOK!"
- Pooh's Adventures In Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000
- "Let me just quickly get out my translator!"
- "no"Explanation
- "fuck no"
- Blake's Recursive Translations have started to become memes in themselves, for example, when this story Blake requested came out, as per tradition, Blake read it, but due to it being in Thai, Blake had to translate it into English, but because he used Google Translate, it became messed up.
- There exists another translation of it, which can be seen here.
- Memetic Psychopath: Gareth Bennett.
- Meta Guy: Ian Joshua Smith. Due to being Genre Savvy, he often lampshades, exploits, deconstructs and invokes tropes.
- Missing Episode: BlakeIsHere And Others Die Season 2 was removed after the writer of that season had a falling out with Blake and blocked him. Blake has confirmed that he has no backups of the episodes, meaning the episodes are completely lost and unavailable.
- Orange/Blue Contrast: Blue and orange are his flagship colours.
- Overshadowed by Controversy: Since 2018, Blake has been accused of multiple types of misbehaviour, including Cyberbullying, harassing, forcing someone to cancel one of their shows, supporting rape at one point, demonizing preschool shows, and request spamming.
- This story deconstructs it, showing that Blake had lost any respect after the controversy, even from his family.
- Queer Character, Queer Actor: Azure Sauber is a non-binary character, and is voiced by a non-binary actress in the UK version, but is averted in the US version.
- Role-Ending Misdemeanor: The suspension of Blake's DeviantArt account was originally this, as DA has served as Blake's main website in terms of activity since he joined in 2017. This is now an Averted Trope since he returned to the website in January 2023.
- Spell My Name with an S:
- Ossie is sometimes spelt "Ossy", as is with the credits.
- One episode's subtitles incorrectly called Chuck E. "Chucky" due to Viewer Name Confusion and Cowboy Be Bop At His Computer.
- Suck E. Cheese's: British Chuck E. Cheese's is Exactly What It Says on the Tin, a British version of Chuck E. Cheese, and features British versions of the CEC cast.
- This counts as Write What You Know as well, as Blake himself is a CEC fan.
- Ironically, an actual Chuck E. Cheese is in Carlsberg City.
- Unreliable Voiceover: Played for Laughs in one video where Blake talks about the time he committed arson on the mayor's house.

Heroes
Lucas Blake Ashton / BlakeIsHere / The British Guy / Welsh Badass / Rejoice for Kelly Marcus
Voice Actor(s): Lucas Blake Ashton
The main Author Avatar of the enormous user.
Tropes:
- Apologises a Lot: He seems to apologise quite a lot, even when it is unnecessary. Justified, since Blake himself has self-esteem issues.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Downplayed as Blake has long hair and a clean shave.
- No Social Skills: Blake's lack of social skills is a defining character trait at this point.
Villains
Recurring Characters
Ossie Colbert
A 16-year-old in Blake's school. Obsessed with his Chromebook.
Tropes:
- Angry Dance: His signature "No Chromebook dance", which he usually does when his Chromebook is taken away or he's not allowed it.
- Exairated in one video, where he was playing Bone Works, and while playing it he broke his Chromebook, making him dance for an entire minute.
- He also has other dances similar to it, such as the "No Beanbag dance".

Jasper, Helen, Munch, and Pasqually: Chuck E!
Jasper: You’re back! Um, what’s with the heavy metal get-up?
Helen: Oh I was so worried about you, Chuck E!
Chuck E: Get off of me, Helen! Ever heard of some personal space?!
Helen: But Chuck E, you love hugs-
Chuck E: Well maybe I don’t like hugs anymore!
Jasper: Chuck E, you need to chill out! Helen was worried for you and this is the way you want to treat her?
Chuck E: Why don’t you go chase a truck heading to Arizona, Jasper?!
Pasqually: Chuck E! What has-a happened to you?! Why are you acting so rude towards us?!
Jasper: You must’ve hit your head on the door frame walking in here!

BlakeIsHere Network section (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Launching in 1987, BlakeIsHere Network (formerly BlakeTehGreat Channel from 1987 to 2020) is the BlakeIsHere Group's TV channel. And one of the first modern satellite TV channels in the UK, and following Sky One's closure in 2021, the oldest satellite TV channel in the UK still in operation note .This channel provides examples of:
- Adored by the Network: Due to how long the channel has been around, many shows have been promoted or aired heavily. The ones below are just a few notable examples.
- During its over 21-year run, the third generation of the BlakeIsHere franchise was aired and promoted a lot, especially on weekends, usually having 2-3 hours of airtime on the channel.
- During 2020, the channel worshipped Numberblocks to hell and back, it was promoted and aired even more than the other shows on the channel, hell, even the BlakeIsHere franchise, the Flagship Franchise of the company, didn't get promoted or aired that much due to this note ! This was most likely due to the COVID-19 Pandemic causing schools to close. This all ended when The BBC sued the BlakeIsHere Group for multiple reasons, causing the show to be taken off the channel.
- This was taken Up To Eleven in November 2020, when the channel aired nothing but Numberblocks. It got so bad that people were theorising that the channel would suffer Network Decay and become a preschool channel or a sister channel to CBeebies.
- The now-defunct BlakeIsHere Classics block enshrined Thomas & Friends, as it was aired & promoted heavily, both inside and outside of the block. Even after the block ended, the show is still there and is now the most-aired show on the channel.
- In the final two months of the BlakeIsHere Classics block before it was killed off in September 2022, it was the only show airing.
- The BlakeIsHere Network 2 channel now only airs Thomas, except for some Chuck E. Cheese showtapes & songs in the early hours and the occasional older episode from the BlakeIsHere franchise (late Gen 1 and Gen 2 mainly).
- On August 1st, 2022, BlakeIsHere Network officially became a 24 hour channel. The catch? From midnight to 5 am every day, the channels air old shows that have been Screwed by the Network in the past, followed by two hours of the network darling Thomas & Friends (previously Alphabest Friends), before the breakfast show BlakeIsHere: A.M.
- Breaking News Interruption: Will almost always happen anytime whenever the death of either a former English Prime Minister (most recently occurred with Margaret Thatcher in 2013), a former Head of State of Carlsbergia (most recently occurred with Rhodri Morgan in 2017), an incumbent leader of a country (first occurred with Emperor Showa / Hirohito in 1989 and most recently with Vladimir Putin in 2022), a member of the English royal family (first occurred with Princess Diana in 1997), or someone who is related to the company or it shows (e.g. the death of the creator of the BlakeIsHere franchise, Labret Claus Forrest III (better known under the anagram Albert Lucas Forrest III) in 2020).
- Network to the Rescue: After The BBC stopped airing Chuck E. Cheese showtapes on BBC One in 2007, which they have aired since 1979, the BlakeIsHere Group brought the rights to air them. And unlike the BBC, they have the original US voice cast, as opposed to dubbing it over with a UK voice cast, and they have kept it ever since.note
- Screwed by the Network: Many shows have been screwed over, mainly imports but some originals have been screwed. The ones below are just a few notable examples.
- While the show was initially a success for the channel and was one of the most popular shows for almost a year, The Crazy-Ass Group Show started to be screwed over around the time of the August 2022 rebranding. The official reason is unconfirmed, but the most likely reason was that the company's contract with Warner Bros. Discovery was suspended due to Executive Meddling on Warner's end.
- The midday talk show BlakeIsHere Discusses, after being treated fairly well, started suffering from this after September 2022. The late-night rerun slot, which has been there since the show's inception, got axed in October 2022 in favour of more reruns of the network darling Thomas & Friends.
- Spell My Name with a "The": It's not uncommon to see the channel's name have a "the" at the beginning, therefore referring to it as "the BlakeIsHere Network", notably in promos.
Nice job, you reached the very bottom of this page, now shoot up in the Tesco parking lot or I'm calling the Peppa Pig narrator to narrate the obvious on you! Even though no one likes you.
