- New York City is often seen as both a beacon of hope... and a dangerous place to live. Anyone who comes to the Big Apple has to work or fight to survive and for some, the struggle can turn violent. Such was the case for the Jets and the Sharks; two gangs of juvenile delinquents battling each other over territory in the city's West Side. Led by the charismatic Riff, the Jets were made up of local white New Yorkers, whilst the Sharks, led by the hot-blooded Bernardo, were comprised of young Peruto Rican immigrants trying to make a living in an America blossoming after the Second World War. Their rivalry goes far back, and the bad blood between them runs deep, so deep in fact that both gangs would do anything to drive the other out, even if it meant an all-out bloodbath. One night, the gangs decided to settle their feud in a "rumble" beneath the highway; with a Combat by Champion approach taken into consideration. But this "fair fight" took a turn for the worst. As the conflict went underway, former Jet and Riff's comrade Tony tried to stop the fighting... inadvertently causing Riff to run into Bernardo's knife and dying as a result. Tony, overcome with rage, took his fallen friend's knife and murdered Bernardo on the spot. Though initially wanting revenge, the Jets, now led by Ice, decided to search for Tony before Bernardo's right-hand man Chino could kill him. But it was too late. Tony was gunned down by Chino, right as he went to embrace his lover Maria, who happened to be Bernardo's sister. As he died in her arms, Maria called both gangs out for letting their conflict escalate, telling them bluntly that Tony, Riff, and Bernardo were all killed, not with bullets and guns, but with hate. That single moment was more than enough. The Jets and Sharks buried the hatchet between each other, carrying Tony's body away in a solemn procession.
- Some time had passed since that terrible night and Anita, Bernardo's girlfriend, found herself in a realm, unlike anything she had seen in America. It was filled with people and creatures beyond her wildest imaginations, and there, waiting for her in a strange temple was her close friend Maria... along with Tony. At first, Anita was shocked to see the man who murdered her lover alive. Then the shock gave way to anger. She called out Tony for what he did, bringing up her near-rape by the other Jets. Maria did her best to help her friend, even asking Anita to be her and Tony's Herald in the "Pantheon" as it was called. Anita took the job for Maria's sake but she wasn't truly satisfied with it, often wandering the Pantheon alone and practicing her dancing in the House of Music. Then one day, Anita learned of the House of Life and Death, and its ability to bring deceased beings back to life. She ventured there, and made one small request; resurrect Bernardo, and return him to her. The request was successful... except there was one minor problem. Not only was Bernardo brought back, but so too was Riff, and to make matters worse two anomalies opened up in the house, bringing the two gangs into the Pantheon. It seemed like the rumble was about to begin anew, but as Riff and Bernardo readied themselves, Anita and the gang members stopped them before the authorities arrived. They explained what had happened following their deaths and that they were trying to patch things up. Anita, with Tony and Maria's help, even went and spoke with the High Gods and gave the two gangs a temple to reside in, to aid in their reconciliation. Riff and Bernardo may not like it but for the sake of their gangs, they have to put up with each other.
- The temple they reside in connects back to 1950s New York, to the same West Side neighbourhood they once fought in. Riff and Bernardo are not permitted to return to their home due to their deaths, but the others are allowed to come and go as they wish. The two gangs stick to their old hangouts, only interacting whenever they're near Doc's shop; neutral ground in their old strife. Doc may not like them being around, especially since they caused so much senseless violence and death, but he does respect their willingness to bury the hatchet.
- When they ascended to the Pantheon, the Jets and Sharks were surprised to learn that not only was Tony alive, but he and Maria were living together as deities. This didn't sit well with Bernardo, who immediately went to their temple to confront his killer and take his sister back. Maria, though surprised by her brother's revival, refused, explaining she and Tony had found new happiness in the Pantheon after everything they went through in New York and she wanted to be more independent. Tony even apologized for killing Bernardo, as he only did it to avenge Riff's own demise. For his part, Riff was a little miffed that his friend put everything on the line for Maria, his interference in the final Rumble causing his death in the first place but the other gang members were able to convince Riff and Bernardo to let them be. Their turf war caused enough pain and suffering to last them forever. For the time being, Riff and Bernardo remain on speaking terms with Tony and Maria, though they both don't exactly approve of their relationship. The rest of the gang is more lenient about their love though.
- After Tony left the gang, Riff assumed leadership of the Jets and strove to keep it strong and ready for their war with the Sharks. He has quite the team for the job. There's Ice, also known as Diesel, his level-headed second-in-command and following Riff's death, the next leader of the gang. He carries a lot of respect from his fellow teammates and often takes command whenever Riff isn't around. Other prominent Jet members include the short-tempered Action, always itching for a fight but always the first to run for cover, A-Rab, who is both aggressive towards the Sharks and his own allies - save for the naive and sweet-hearted rookie, Baby-John, who only goes along with the gang out of peer pressure. And Anybodys, a crafty tagalong who is initially shunned by the other Jets either for being a tomboyish lesbian, transgendered or non-binary. They soon gain respect from Ice for helping to find Tony after the Rumble and is incredibly loyal to the latter, often visiting him and Maria from time to time. Other Jet members include Snowboy, Joyboy, Tiger, Big Deal, Mouthpiece, Gee Jar, Balkan, Numbers, Little Moly, and Skink with the gang members girlfriends - Graziella, Velma, Minnie/Tessa, Clarice and Pauline, joining the group. They're all struggling with getting along with the Sharks but after the events of the Rumble and its immediate aftermath, they're trying their best.
- With Bernardo's return, he and Anita have gathered their fellow Sharks back together, all made up of fellow Peuto Rican immigrants struggling to make a living in America. Among their ranks is Chino, a good friend of Bernardo's who was initially Maria's suitor. While angered by Tony killing Bernardo, he came to regret murdering the former Jet leader... if only for hurting Maria. Chino is the most out-spoken about the Jets and Sharks reforming, hoping to avoid any more bloodshed. There's also Bernardo's intelligent but short-tempered second-in-command Braulio, whom the Jets mockingly call Pepe. Senior Member Quique, who also joined in Chino's attempts to end the feud between the two gangs, the hot-blooded, patriotic Chago, along with fellow members Indio, Flaco and Aníbal. They're also joined by their girlfriends - Rosalia, Consuelo, Teresita, Francisca, Estella and Marguerita - with many other members of both gangs to bolster their numbers. Unlike Riff and Bernardo, they all simply want peace among their ranks and are willing to do so to honor and respect Tony and Maria's wishes... even if it is a massive uphill climb.

- Gruntilda was a nasty old witch, though others called her a mean green bitch. Beauty was her heart’s desire, to help kindle a Vainglorious fire. Alas her dingpot by the bench revealed she wasn’t a nice-looking wench. A bear named Tooty had taken her spot, kindness and love all right on the dot. Down from Spiral Mountain did Grunty fly, to take Tooty’s beauty and make her cry. Success was almost guaranteed... until her brother got Tooty freed. At that point, the mean witch could not hope to succeed. She was felled by her own greed and that’s how Gruntilda got Banjo-Kazooie’d. Beneath a great boulder Grunty was placed, for two long years, she remained disgraced. Her sisters came to bust her out, a skeletal body left Grunty to pout. Now finally free, Grunty toiled and schemed, to write Banjo and Kazooie’s will and deed. But no luck did she have, try as she might, for Grunty’s two sisters in a quiz fight. Once she tried revenge as a robot, but then was trounced and left to rot. It must be embarrassing to be beaten by such dolts. But hey, that's Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
- After toiling in the Lord Of Game's Factory, doomed to make games that are unsatisfactory, a great darkness came to the dank factory room and tore Grunty's soul from her body, seemingly spelling her ultimate doom. Unfortunately for the Bear and Bird, it was Dharkon that unlocked her cell, in return for his servitude, she was ready to give her enemies Hell. Armed with her original body, and with her spells and machines in hand, Gruntilda the Witch was ready to turn Banjo and Kazooie into unrecognizable sand. However, she detached herself from her master when the Bear and Bird proved to be much faster. Abandoning him to become her own master once more, she continues her battles, truly rotten to the core.
- Grunty's new temple was her old Spiral Mountain home, complete with worlds for guests to enter and roam.
- Rumours say that Grunty's sister stopped her rhymes. That is completely false, for she can drop them on a dime.

- Originally the God of Ultimate Attacks That Do Nothing, Inuyasha was one of several deities to be cast into The Fallen. After its destruction, he wandered aimlessly through the Void, striking down revenants with his trusty Tessaiga. This was his life for some time until his long-time companion and future wife Kagome requested the Court of the Gods to bring him back. It took a while, but eventually, the Gods succeeded in resurrecting the Yōkai and giving him a new position in the Pantheon.
- At one point, he participated in a tournament that involved other Shonen Sunday and Shonen Magazine deities, such as Negi Springfield, Hayate Ayasaki, and Natsu Dragnel. He got creamed by them due to his battle strategy and how his his ultimate attacks did barely anything to them.
- When asked why his designated Trope had been changed, an analysis on the part of the Main House was released concerning his attacks: The Wind Scar slaying 100 yokai was against mook level yokai, and Backlash Wave was a defensive attack that has a defined weakness of being useless against physical attacks or a lack of demonic energy. Red Tessaiga adjusted to Naraku's barriers..eventually. Kongoshoha was strong enough that Naraku and Moryomaru needed to absorb the technique themselves, to even out the playing field. Dragon-Scaled Tessaiga was a close-range attack, and it helped kill Magatsuhi by trapping him in Inuyasha's Yoketsu. Likewise, Meido Zangetsuha's mass portal-cut spam was powerful enough to finally weaken Naraku and was ultimately instrumental in enabling Inuyasha and Kagome to finally destroy the Shikon Jewel once and for all.
- While some grumbled at this logic, it was ultimately ruled as being no different from other attacks/upgrades, and thus qualified Inuyasha for a title change.
- Allies: Raven, Takumi Inui/Kamen Rider Faiz, Orihime Inoue, Yoruichi Shihouin.
- Enemies: Masato Kusaka/Kamen Rider Kaixa
- The center of all gossip in the entire Pantheon, as she's rumoured to have been going out with everyone, gender notwithstanding. Even with Companion Cube.
- On extremely good terms with Masaya Aoyama, since the latter's temple has sometimes sheltered Inuyasha.
- Originally, this title was offered to Ranma Saotome as an alternative to his current position as the God and Goddess of Gender Bending. There were no survivors.
- Was not happy to hear that Inuyasha ended up ascending in the Fallen house. At the very least, the fact that she is in the Pantheon proper means that he isn't completely ruined on the chance of being freed from there.
- Was not pleased to find out her voice is the same as the infamous Sonozaki twins....who are even from a universe with her very surname as the title.
