Samuel T. Weston is an autistic director and award-winning screenwriter. He grew up all around Minnesota and is based in Duluth.
Sam describes himself as a fantasy writer turned filmmaker, and it shows. He's made a handful of short films, he's building a fantasy film studio, and he wrote and directed the film Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry. His current works-in-progress are an award-winning Dungeon Punk Conspiracy Thriller called Wizards of the Underworld and The Broken Fellowship, a Coming of Age Story set at a LARP game.
Maybe one day he'll finally break from the Tropers namespace and ascend to a full-fledged Creator...
On the forums, he tends to hang around Writer's Block.
You can now post your hate on Sam's Troper Wall.
He also does professional screenplay feedback here.
Tropes that apply to Sam or appear in Sam's work include:
- Awesome Music: One goal of his, as seen in Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry.
- Entry Pimp: Because who else is gonna make trope pages for his own movies?
- High Fantasy: His genre of choice, along with Dungeon Punk.
- One of Us: Is a troper, as evidenced by this page being in the Tropers namespace.
Projects you can blame Sam for:
- "The Swordswoman" (short film, 2019)
- Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry (original cut in 2018; George Lucas Altered Version in 2022)
- Fictosophy short films:
- How Sports Feel to People Who Don't Like Sports (2017)
- Oracle (2016)
- Jedi Coworker (2016)
- Translating Minnesota Nice (2016)
