Accidental Index

What the...? Oops. Sorry, I wasn't trying to create a page, it just sort of happened. I was just wasting time clicking links when I thought I would see if there was an index of accident tropes. I end up on this page that says "We don't have an article..." and I clicked some button or another and I can't figure out how to unmake the page. Uhh...

A lot of events in fiction happen by accident. Some are Played for Laughs, some are Played for Drama, but it's shocking how long it can take people to notice their accidents, and it's odd how often these accidents show up.

• Accidental Dance Craze: Wow! I actually invented a dance move!
• Accidental Discovery: Whoops! I didn't mean to find out about that!
• Accidental Hand-Hold: Sorry! I wasn't going for your hand!
• Accidental Hero: Wait! I wasn't trying to save the world!
• Accidental Hug: Sorry! Didn't mean to hug you!
• Accidental Incantation: Oh no! I was reading out loud from this innocent-looking book of magic and cast an actual spell!
• Accidental Innuendo: Wait! That was an innuendo?! I swear! I wasn't trying to make any dirty implication!
• Accidental Kidnapping: My bad! Kidnapping wasn't my inclination!
• Accidental Kiss: Oops! I didn't mean to kiss you!
• Accidental Marriage: Hold on! My inclination wasn't to get married!
• Accidental Misnaming: Darn it! I got your name wrong!
• Accidental Murder: I didn't mean to kill them! It was an accident!

• Accidental Nightmare Fuel: Sorry! It wasn't intended to be scary!
• Accidental Passenger: Oh dear! I didn't mean to get on this vehicle!
• Accidental Pervert: Sorry! I didn't mean to disturb your privacy!
• Accidental Pornomancer: Whoops! I didn't mean to seduce you!
• Accidental Proposal: Wait! I didn't mean to propose to you!
• Accidental Public Confession: Oh no! I spilled the beans in front of everyone by mistake!
• Accidental Pun: Wow! That was a pun?! Never noticed!
• Accidental Suicide: Whoopsie! I think I just killed mysel... (drops dead)
• Accidental Theft: Shoot, I forgot to pay for it!
• Accidental Tickle Torture: Sorry! Didn't mean to tickle you! Hehe!

• Accidental Truth: Wait! It's true after all?! That was just a lie I made up, but I didn't know it was true!

• Amusingly Awful Aim: How did you miss such an easy target?
• Badass Unintentional: Whoa! I'm tougher than I thought I was!
• Bungled Hypnotism: Oops! The hypnosis I induced has unintended side effects!
• Coincidental Accidental Disguise: Wait! I'm not really some grotesque-looking creature! It's just me covered up in an unintentional disguise!
• Collateral Damage: I swear we really didn't intend to injure those civilians who got in our way while we were trying to attack our enemies!
• Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Nixon: Whoopsie-Daisy! Those weren't the real names of Santa's reindeer!
• Deadly Hazing: Not always, but usually I didn't mean to kill this person I was initiating.
• Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: Oops! I should have just kept my big mouth shut!
• Epic Fail: Wow! That was perhaps the stupidest mistake I ever made!
• Freak Lab Accident: Whoa! This isn't what I expected from a scientific experiment, but I'll take these results!
